your look in winter

Featured: Embrace the autumn palette
Warm browns, rust, walnut, camel and golden shades, these colours are everywhere!  Right from Gucci to Micheal Kors, Calvin Klein Jeans, French Connection and Louis Vuitton, all vouch for these chic ranges of shades and their colourfulness this season.
Get your share of glistening gold
Calvin Klein Jeans is one such brand whose collection denotes the warming light of cosy interiors and the rich expressiveness of leather and woods. They have introduced the camel, greys and walnut colours along with the warm liquid gold colour of leaves in their Autumn Winter range. The entire range exudes warmth, simplicity and elegance to the hilt.

From jackets to denim and bags, the autumn shades are prominent across their collection. You will absolutely love the burnished gold jacket, the trendy bags in camel and maroon colours as well as the brown tees that can be teamed with delicious gold denims. The entire collection is an absolute delight to have in your wardrobes for the winters.

Adorn the Parisian chic persona
At the onset of Autumn/Winter, one of the first things to grab from French Connection is the camel, grey and maroon hues that dominate their collection of jackets and dresses. “These are effortlessly chic shades that give any look an instant uptown polish. Along with deep rich maroons that emerge as a strong colour trend this season,” says Senior Marketing and Communications Manager of French Connection.

The deep maroon woollen coat or even the top from the French Connection as seen in the picture are sheer classic, defining Parisian chic effortlessly. They even have a good range of camel and grey coloured coats that are absolutely timeless.

The autumnal Indian dose
The best thing about this colour range is that it suits the Indian complexion beautifully. Be it rust, golden or even shades of brown, the Indian features are highlighted well in these colours.

Whether it is the eclectic saris of Satya Paul, the intricately embroidered tops and salwar kameez of Ritu Kumar or even Sonya Vajifdar’s camel coloured pretty dresses, Indian designers have found these colours intrinsic in their collection for the longest time. And why not? “They blend with the natural surroundings beautifully and it seems you’re in sync with the nature, especially when you’re in colder places,” says designer Sonya Vajifdar.

Mix it right
Whether you decide to wear a top, trench, jacket or even a dress, how you wear it is also quintessential.  The fashion consensus proves that trend is warmly autumnal so try mixing it together in a new way - pair petroleum green with warm brown or wear nocturnal blue with a flash of fiery orange or rust. The choice is yours!

“Amongst all trends, pick a camel coat for sure, it is beyond doubt the most popular trend so far this year and can be teamed with almost everything. Of course adding a hint of colour by accessioning the outfit never hurts as well,” says Sonya.

Straight off from the forest floor and into your wardrobe, the autumn trend is an eternal classic style of dressing to emulate that can never go wrong. Need we say more?
