The dress comprises of three pieces set a long skirt with a small fitted blouse and a dupatta or chunni. The choli can be with sleeves or sleeveless. It has low neck and back with design depending upon the bride’s preference. Chunni is just like a stole, which might be slung around the neck, or to cover head or hung from one of the shoulders.
There are various types of lehenga designs available in the market now days like -

Fish cut or Fish tail – It gives a shape like a fish at the bottom that why it’s called fish style lehenga. In fish-cut style, the lehenga hugs your body till the knees and thereafter, it erupts into flares.

A-line cut – Is like a shape of English letter “A”. The cut broadens with the increase in the length of the skirt
Straight cut – In this the lehenga falls parallel to your legs. It’s like a straight skirt.
Flares – The flared lehenga has a lot of pleats around the waist.

Bridal Lehenga is made up of different colors, designs, patterns and fabrics. Georgette, Crepe, Chiffon, Silk, Cotton, Satin, Net, Brocade are few of the most popular fabrics used. The color of the lehenga should be selected according to the occasion, complexion and what suits you the most. Red and shades of red are always in demand for the wedding but now days the dark colors like orange, ruby red, navy blue, rust and turquoise, golden silver are also preferred. Lehengas are elaborated with details like pearl, patch, resham, kundan, stones, semi precious stones, crystals, beads, pearls, diamonds, thread work, gotta work, mirror work, sequins, embroidery, zari work etc
